Central Market Dental Clinic was established in 1987 and expanded to include the clinic at Magill in 1988. Our friendly, experienced and caring staff provide personalised general dentistry.

Dr Lukas Tsakalos, Dr Andrew Carey and Dr April Wong are primarily focused on preventative dentistry. Their goal is to help their patients maintain good oral health over the long term to avoid problems such as gum disease, tooth decay and the loss of teeth.

Dr April Wong is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and English. April enjoys welcoming locals from Adelaide’s Chinese community.

Our practice has a multicultural feel to it with team members representing Cambodia, Zimbabwe, China, Brunei, Thailand, Greece and England and Australia.

Our team of hygienists and oral health therapists are at the frontline when it comes to helping patients maintain their oral health for the prevention of tooth decay and gum disease. As well as providing expert tooth cleaning, they are available to teach children how to care for their teeth on a daily basis and to help you prepare a preventive health care plan for your mouth.

A comprehensive range of restorative treatments are available. The Dentists are skilled in the latest dental techniques and perform procedures using the latest equipment and highest quality materials, including implants and porcelain crowns and onlays.

Night guards (occlusal splints) and sports mouth guards are custom-made to suit the individual shape of each patient’s mouth for maximum comfort and protection.

Zoom teeth whitening is available for those wanting a brighter more radiant smile.

All members of the team are trained in current infection control procedures and strictly adhere to the guidelines of the Australian Dental Association.
