How it works

The Bike Van works on all types of bicycles; road, MTB, commuters, hybrids, E-bikes, kids bikes & more.

We’ll come to your place of choice whether it be at home, work or somewhere else. We’ll look over your bike and give you a quote for the service before commencing, including any parts that need to be replaced.

We carry a range of spare & replacement parts and aim to service your bike there and then in the next couple of hours! 

Needs restoration & overhauling? Or specific parts need to be ordered? No worries. We’ll store your bike at our workshop & drop it back to you when ready. You’ll be given an estimated time for completion. Usually 1-7 days.

The map at the bottom of this page shows the Hobart area where no call out fee is charged. The Bike Van travels further from Hobart in all directions. Call for pricing. For smaller jobs (less than 30mins) emergency repairs & call outs we do require a minimum spend of $70 to make the trip economical.

All jobs are charged at an hourly rate of $90 per hour. Below is a guide for the most common & typical servicing needs. The Bike Van can do many other services & repairs that a not listed below, just ask.
