Perth Psychological Services (PPS) was founded in 2006 by Suzanne Midford. As a group we have respected expertise in a range of mental health areas such as the diagnosis and intervention for Autism Spectrum Disorder, other neurodevelopmental disorders (including Selective Mutism, FASD, ADHD, Learning Disorders), Anxiety and Depression, Relationship issues, Parenting and Childhood Behaviours, Trauma (chronic and acute), Bereavement, Grief and Loss, Gender Identity, Reproductive concerns including IVF and Donor issues.
We have two locations across the Perth and Peel regions; North Perth and Falcon. With our diverse expertise, you will find a Clinician with the skills and experience to provide and support you through treatment.
Our clinical team are all registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency), Medicare and private health funds ensuring we are able to provide rebates, where possible.
PPS works privately and welcomes referrals from GP’s, Paediatricians and Psychiatrists.
We are a recognised provider for State Government Departments including: Health, Child Development Services, Department of Communities (Disability and Child Protection Services), NDIS, Legal Aid and Workers Compensation. We hold many private contracts with schools, Not for Profit Organisations and other private health providers.
PPS adopts a strong mentoring approach to the Psychology community, we have several AHPRA registered Supervisors available for Clinical Supervision to other Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists. We employ and support Clinical Psychologist Registrars with our experienced senior team members.
