Residential Care
We understand how overwhelming it can be to move into residential care, when living at home is no longer an option. Whichever BlueCross residence you choose to live in, you will always be supported with respect, integrity and choice to stay who you are and live the life you want. After all, a change in postcode shouldn’t change who you are.
Admissions to BlueCross residences
We are accepting new admissions at our aged care residences, where residents are able to move freely around the home. We encourage all new residents to get tested for COVID-19 within three days prior to admission and provide us with their test results. New residents will be tested again for COVID-19 upon admission and will need to isolate in their room until a negative result is returned, which will usually be within 24 to 48 hours. This is an important precautionary measure to ensure the safety of our residents and staff.
